WHO DIS?

I'm Brian. I've been a creative for most of life. For the past three decades I've worked as a graphic designer, web designer, front end developer, art director, and photographer.

My first exposure to photography (ha, I didn't intend to say that but I'm leavin it!) was in my sophomore year of college. Way back then, in the olden days, I used a print camera and shot only black and white. I was hooked. That summer I built a DIY darkroom in my parents basement. As a broke college kid I couldn't afford great equipment. My enlargers were yard sale finds of unknown vintage with some auction bits thrown in from my uncle. It worked [sort of] and for me that's all that mattered. I reluctantly transitioned to digital camera systems years later but still think back fondly on those early days in the basement.

As a photographer I've never focused (again with the puns) on one particular genre as I think there is always something new to learn and explore. I apply the same creative philosophy and passion to each and every project I am apart of.
